A tropical wave (Invest 97L) quickly organized into Tropical Depression Fourteen on Thursday night over the far Eastern Atlantic. As of 11:00 p.m. EDT, the depression was centered near 10.7°N 25.4°W, and was moving west-northwestward at about 22 mph. Maximum sustained winds were 30 knots (35 mph), with an estimated minimum pressure of 1010 mb.
