Tropical Storm Andrea forms over the central Atlantic
The first named storm of the 2025 Atlantic hurricane season, Tropical Storm Andrea, formed this morning over the Central Atlantic Ocean. Andrea is a very disorganized tropical storm in only a marginally favorable environment, and is expected to be a short-lived cyclone. Andrea is no threat to land.
